Living Roofs, Inc. is available for general consultation services for green roofs. We can help direct clients and designers interested in green roofs to the information and resources they need to make their project happen. We work with designers and builders to ensure the green roof system selected is the optimum choice for the project goals, climate, program, and maintenance requirements. We are also available for educational sessions for groups interested in different green roof systems and their many applications.

Green roof design for new construction

Living Roofs, Inc. is involved at the outset of new construction projects. Collaboration with other designers (landscape architects, architects, engineers, etc.) early in the design process is necessary to ensure the type of green roof chosen is the appropriate and optimal choice for each project.

Green roof design for existing building retrofits

Living Roofs, Inc. can help meet the challenges inherent in adaptive reuse projects such as ensuring existing structural capacity and roof membrane compatibility. We can help you design a system that will meet the constraints and opportunities of an existing structure.

Living Roofs, Inc. installs all types of green roofs including traditional, modular, and pre-vegetated systems. Our services go beyond the initial installation; Living Roofs, Inc. is active post-installation to ensure survivability and performance of the plants and green roof system.

Green roof maintenance for new and existing green roofs

Living Roofs, Inc. has a strict 12 to 24 month maintenance schedule included in all installations to ensure healthy establishment of the green roof system. Additionally, we are available to assist in the maintenance of existing green roofs. Plant replacement and re-selection may be necessary in order to maintain performance and the desired aesthetic.
